It is running behind, probably due to another ship being in its berth. Same happened with the delivery of my car. Not that I was watching

The ship also moved berths partway through the unload process.

Hi k44ENT, I was away on holiday for a month and just been through this post. So, what am I missing? Have you bought a new 135i?

Good luck

Correct, I decided in November that as good as the 328i is I was longing for a six cylinder petrol car. The 328i is rapid but lacks the instant power delivery that a diesel or big engined petrol car gives. Not wanting another 3 series I decided on a 3 door (don't use the rear seats much now days) M135i. Discounts are very high at the moment so was able to pretty much swap. Car is now built and due 1st week of Jan. Hope it's a good'n!!

Another bit of useless info, once your car has been issued a chassis number, the genius, if asked will give you the last 7 digits of the chassis number. If you put it in http://www.bmwvin.com/ it will give you the full chassis number and spec so you can see if anything has been missed off.

That sounds great. I am sure you are going to love the performance of your M135i. Will wait for the pics..

Getting nearer mate

I enjoyed doing this with both my cars - made the wait more bearable. only problem was - I tracked the wrong ship to the wrong port the first time

I learned for the last one

Keep us posted over the festive period

Depending on the location of your dealer it's normally about 5 days before it
gets delivered.

Whoop Whoop

When it arrives and you go to greet it - have a look at the A4 piece of paper on the windscreen and note "Port of Arrival" - just out of curiosity.....

Assuming its going to HJ Chester? - it will say Immingham - unless they've changed the shipping routes recently. Both my 235 and 435 came Cuxhaven to Immingham then through Thorne before the dealers.

Well FFS I've only been tracking the wrong ship. I might reject the car now! :

On the upside I wonder when the actual Stealth Ship got into Immingham / 'ull (There is actually no H in 'ull). This is probably a couple of days earlier, its likely on the M62 right now. Time to stake out the dealers.
