subwoofer

Right I have two 10inch subs in my boot but the gas door rattles like crazy and sounds horrible from the outside has anyone else got this problem I’m thinking of changing my sub box also any pictures of you guys sub Installs would be appreciated

The door rattles because the car is being vibrated by the very same thing that causes your eardrums to vibrate, allowing you to hear the bass thus created: low frequency long wavelength sound waves. If you eliminate the source that vibrates the one you'll also stop the vibration of the other. Your only real option is to use materials like foam weatherstrip and vinyl mastic pads to stop the vibrations where they occur.

Will have to try something because it doesn't sound good and I don't have a ski hatch to let some of the bass into the cabin area

Bass passes though seats like a hot knife through warm butter, also because it consists of low frequency long wavelength sound waves. It's only the higher frequency shorter wavelengths above the subwoofer pass band that are stopped by the seats.
