LED tail light failure !

So my passenger side LED tail light is starting to fail, the LED strip is going dark, and I am getting the brake light and turn signal malfunction. I'm looking to bring this to my mechanic tomorrow, oh yeah, my tail lights are tinted so I refuse to replace the entire tail light assembly that is just stupid. I did some reading the cause to be the VALEO Led board? Can my mechanic fix this without tryna replace the entire tail light assembly? Thank you in advanced!

A bad ground lug in the connector would explain the failure of all the bulbs in the lamp. It's a common problem. There's more than a few threads about this.

This bad ground lug in the connector is part of the VALEO LED board right? Sorry just trying to learn.

The connector plugs into the lamp.

Ah okay I see. So if my mechanic fixed this for me. Realistically how much should he charge me or how long? And would they try to replace the entire assembly? Because I'm not doing that lol.

If you don't trust your mechanic either get a new mechanic or learn how to do your own work.
