F30 high level brake light
Just noticed I have an led out on my high level brake light, I assume the whole unit needs replaced and you can’t replace leds. How much are we talking for a replacement unit and are they easy to swap over?

It's only an MOT failure when 50% of the LEDs in the unit have failed.

There are complete used units floating around for £50 or less on fleabay, Matchparts, etc. Replacement isn't too difficult if this video is anything to go by.

Ended up getting a replacement from my local bmw spares for 20 quid, bargain and working perfectly
 My local bmw dealer was looking £150 for a new one
