New 340i for me

Hey guys, picked up my new (to me) 340i on Monday, it’s in a 67 plate and fell a bit lucky because I don’t think the garage knew it had the mppsk on it as it was no where in the description (little win)
Il get some pics uploaded as soon as I’ve had chance to properly give her a clean.

Cheers

J

Nice one
The 40i seem to be quite hard to get at a decent price for a decent spec at the moment.

Yeah weirdly it doesn’t have any other modifications that I can see anyway, just the exhaust and the (map) due to the stickers under the bonnet. I do have a few plans for it, springs and spacers maybe but we shall see when a little time has gone.
Yeah I feel it was fairly priced, auto trader thought it was a good price so I suppose I can’t grumble, only 23k on too

That means they really stiffed the original owner on trade in

Yeah, I don't get it. Surely the owner would have mentioned the mppsk and expensive 624m wheels when selling, but none of it was in the description. All sounded standard

Doesn’t add value to trade-in. Only adds value when selling privately, or when on wizzle/motorway etc

Thanks for the kind words, Amazing car, completely happy with it. coming from a 16 plate Audi I must say everyone raves over Audi interior and build quality and I’m the opposite, but I’m not going to slate them.
Give it a few weeks and il be looking for springs and spacers and from there who knows

Welcome to the forum Jay. Coming from a 15 plate Audi too, I did like its ivory alcantara interior, but the seats in the BMW felt so much more comfortable.

I understand that for most 'normal' options.

But the MPPSK is one thing that I will be expecting to add a little value to my trade in. It's not a normal option and any BMW salesman would know that.
It's not a bolt on diffuser, it's a transformation in character of a x40i that I know is sought after by some prospective buyers who are happy to pay more for a MPPSK car..

Sounds like a great car, congrats and welcome.

I said to myself I'd wait 6 months before getting MPPSK fitted... These posts are tempting me!

Cheers guys! It’s the saloon, grey on the usual 19s with black wing mirrors and black grill so I shall add a few extra touches then leave it alone. I would have happily had a touring but this came up and didn’t want to miss the opportunity. Having a good rummage through the forum, a lot of helpful/useful info which is always welcomed. Il be giving a good clean and pics on my next block off. Would actually be interesting to see if the old owner is on here (long shot I know)

Hi guys, after 2 weeks ownership, only just got around to giving her a full new clean and ceramic coating. Took a few pics and shall be posting more in the pic thread and 340i/440i thread.
Took me a while so I hope they work.

Cheers
