What did you do to your F3X today?

It’s a select fire 300blk with 8.5” barrel and Sandman-K suppressor. The rollover things are inside the rectangular panels. The headrests of the F33 aren’t going to help much in a rollover.

Oh they're different to my E93 convertible! Mine are at the back of the headrests! Got it!

I have a rug in that area behind the seats, it's actually a lot smaller on the older model!

It's been exactly a year since I bought my car, just had a flat tire replaced... gotta love that complementary wheel warranty for a year that came with the car.... it was just going to run out today lol

Complete plugs/coil swap. The car still had the factory plugs in it so I swapped them with NGK's. Car seems to idling a lot smoothing now

Was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Really only the #6 cylinder was annoying, the rest were cake

Forgot to undo the oil catch pan plug and poured 7 qts of oil on to my garage floor.

Life Hack: Double check that it's open before doing an oil change.

Refitted the reversing sensor - 3 screws a bit of super glue! Job done!

Now I need to wash it!

I just did mine today as well. F30 N55. I am getting a gas smell at idle. I think one of the plugs may be lose. How tight did 17ft lbs feel like? I used my torque wrench but it didn't feel tight enough to me.

Just changed to black grills.. 20 minutes. Bit tighter than I expected to get in and undo the clips, but pretty easy.

Did you have extra oil? The worst thing to do is that then need to drive to go get oil

It was the old oil in the catch pan, it overfilled and just started dumping all over the garage floor. I was cleaning the oil plug and looked down to see oil coming out from underneath the car. Went through about 4 rolls of shop towels cleaning it all up. Turned a 10 minute oil change in to a 40 minute cleaning oil event.

17 lbs is somewhere around a 1/4 turn once it gets tight. It really isn't tight at all and spark plugs don't really need to be all that tight. They have a million threads and between the hot/cold cycles of a motor they'll just get tighter basically. It would have to be incredibly loose for you to be getting a gas smell because of that? and I would think you'd get a misfire too

Yeah that M5 was nice. They had a BSM M5 Competition there for sale too. The Grey one was from West German.
