F30 USB upgrade

Has anyone successfully retrofitted a usb c connector to their f30?

I picked up the connector, #3 in the pic above.

The back is the same as the USB/AUX with two pinouts. One is the FAKRA and the other is very similar to the aux so I’m suspecting that this module requires power, and not just the FAKRA USB. Can anyone help me with regard to getting power to this from the battery? I’ve plugged in the existing USB cable but it doesn’t work so I’m assuming it needs the additional 12v too.

Yes it requires 12v power as posted in your other thread where i posted some pics, ( you have 2 same threads)

This usb used in G20,G21,G11,G12,F48, and believe F39s Twin ones used in X models
