Shop Rip Off?

Hey all, so I have a 2013 BMW 328i xDrive F30. Almost approaching 120,000 miles. Good car! My mechanic said I'm gonna eventually need new tie rod ends in the front. They aren't broken he said, he said because of constantly doing wheel alignment they had to heat up the sleeve which eventually wears them out. So I might be looking at $700 bill not including the $135 wheel alignment possibly in a couple months. Is this normal? Or am I being taken for a ride.

Never heard of this but I don't usually keep cars past 100k. I'd get a second opinion. Seems kind of high for tie rod ends.

I believe it's for the whole assembly both inner and outer. What I don't understand is if only one is seized. Why replace both? I get the mentality behind it. But it's not like a struts or something so I just see it as wasted money.
