Pure Stage 2 Comparison

Hey Everyone. Here is a comparison of the intake and exhaust sides of the Stock N55 EWG turbo vs the Pure Stage 2. These are from my upgrade.

They are fairly high res so I won't clutter up the thread with large pictures.

Gives you an idea of how much material they are removing from the Turbo case and the increased size of the larger wheels.

So how do you like the Pure stage 2? Do you just run a JB4 with that?

I want to run 93-92...

Which flash tune are you using? Are you going to use supplemental fueling?

Enzo? I sent them my ECU last year, major issues and we had to go back to stock flash. I still would want to try it again, I think i was one of the first couple guys to get it.

Curious how much boost the flash tune is targeting? From what I remember, stock fueling is good up to about 16-17psi til redline. I would really recommend port injection or meth, the turbo really comes alive around 22+psi.

Next up is an Mperf LSD, some suspension and brake pad/fluid upgrades.

I will let the port fuel injection/tuning work itself out a bit more with the trail blazers before I check into that.

The wheels are bigger so you can do the math there, but I wouldn't dissuade you from taking the plunge. It's intoxicating, the car just loves to load up the rear suspension and it's almost like a plane taking off when the boost comes up to full steam.

edit oops wrong person quoted.

I went back and looked at some logs and mind you this is a BT adapter so the sample rate isn't the best, but I am seeing 15 psi @ 3200 rpm and please don't take that as fact as the sample rates aren't the best, but I am doing full sweep to keep the sensor data as close as possible.

Stock fueling will max out around 16-17psi to redline, not to mention you'll be octane limited without meth or pi.
