400whp Questions

So I officially am getting my 435i today.

What will it take to get around 450whp?

I plan on JB4, Downpipe,Meth,Intake all the usual bolt ons. Where would that put me in terms of hp and tq?

You'll need to upgrade your turbo to hit 450whp.

The pure stage 2 along with port injection and a high e85 mix will allow upwards of 550whp. Transforms the car into an absolute beast. My car is xdrive and I've managed a 0-60 in 3.1s on all season tires, my best 1/4 mile so far was 11.3s/125.7mph.

Although I haven't experimented with meth I'm pretty sure 500whp is possible with meth in case you don't have access to e85.

I'm FBO with a flash and on pump gas 91 and I'm at 402whp so a turbo upgrade will be needed for 450whp

Whatever you do get the limited slip diff if you have RWD. Either Quaife or M performance.

Also, you probably want 275s in back

miguel _f32 whats a "local guy" flash lol ?

J_MENIS even Pure Stage1 can hit 400whp if you dont want to go stage2. Since you're in SF you should have a lot of access to E85 right?

No, there used to be a few e85 stations years back, but now there's only 1 in SF. Other stations are across the bridge about 30mins out. Lol but even with those circumstances I would run E30 on my daily. And thanks, I'll look into mission performance.

I would suggest a turbo upgrade. When you start hitting the limits of the stock fuel system you are @ 450 whp. Assuming a baseline of 300 rwhp.

JB4 (and/or flash tune) + E85 + FBO will get you very close to 400whp on the stock turbo.

JB4 + Catless Downpipe + Intercooler + CP + Intake + Methanol Injection + E30 will get you 400 whp


You are going to need eveyrhting i mentioned + Pure stage 2 turbos to cross 450

+1. Got the 275s Pilot Supersports in the rear now but will definitely need that LSD at some point..car in the shop now for Pure stage 2; fuel-it PI kit and stage 2 LPFP install. Can't wait!

You'd reccomend running E30M or either one ? I ran E30M on my last car as well.

Thanks Luminous! I heard stories of your car from the guys at Enzo. I might be heading that way with my ECU soon. We have virtually the same mods. Just called the shop. Fuel-it LPFP and PI platinum kit installed. Bolting the Pure STG 2 Turbo now. Guess I'll start a thread. I'll drop you a PM.
