Calipers locked up
So I went to drive my car right now and when I was ready to take off I hear metal on metal. I checked and BOTH my front calipers are locked up against the rotors. What would make that happen I had just driven my car a couple days a go and it was perfectly fine, anyone have this happen to them? The car is a 435i btw

Are the calipers themselves touching the rotors or the brake pads? I suspect it was rusty rotors, unless your brake pads are completely worn out, at which time you'd hear a squeak from the pad wear indicators. Could also be the pads themselves being somewhat glazed over. A couple of hard stops will take care of that.
