I don't think its bad at all, I love the interior of my f31. Its the nicest car I've owned so far but when I see the G30 interiors they just look lush!

In all honesty I don't like the audi interiors, it took a mates S4 to impress me there. A lot of it is probably taste

In comparison to the 5 series I'd say yes, when I went from a 5 to a 3 it was a big let down it felt cheap and basic, however that relativity has gone so it feels Ok now, but nothing more.

Compared to the e46 vs e39 when there was very little difference, in that they were both nice places to be and felt like a scaled versions of each other.
