Retrofit F80 M3 door mirrors?

Does anyone know if the mirrors on the new F80 M3 will be avalable for the F30?
Those mirrors look awesome!

I agree. The F30 mirrors look big and blocky!

Yeah, plus the M3 mirrors look way more aggressive than the original mirrors, wich I think fits better with the IMO aggressive front of the F30
I found a photo of each for comparison:

Stupid question but asking as someone mentioned this (not on this forum). Are electronic folding ones smaller than non-folding ones?

There's no stupid questions, only stupid answers!
And to answer your question: No they are the same size.

Though the one thing I noticed is that the mirror face is smaller with the automatic folding mirrors/auto-dim ones when I drove a loaner 320i without folding mirrors.

The should fit just fine but you have to give BMW your first born to get them. M mirrors are always super expensive, I wouldn't be surprised if they will cost $1500-2000.

Are you sure they are same size for F30 mirror base and F80 mirror base?

They fit just fine, did the swap on my F31. The only thing you'll need to change is the foam seal between car and mirror base.
Just make sure to order F80 M3 mirrors for F30/31 and F82 M4 mirrors for F32/33/36 as they are not interchangeable.

I wonder if you could just replace the shell and the mirror itself?

Can't say really as I'm not very sensitive to wind noise. Its definitely not louder.
The only thing is, the windows get dirtier when wet.
