My turbo coolant line had leak so I bought a new part and a oring. Part number: 11537643226 I got all the bolts out but could not figure how to get this line out. The blue part is the part that I want to change but seems like it is sharing a hole. Seems like there are return line as well but couldnt just pull it out by hand. Can you guys help me? it's not that hard))) Small flat head screwdriver will help you to pop lines off after bolt was removed, also lube o-rings when installing the lines back to turbo, to prevent them from pinching, after lines installed just add coolant and bleed the system, check for leaks to verify all went smooth, and you all good))

Just did this job on my G30 530i with the B46. Man it was a royal pain in the butt. Removing the wastegate actuator (i think?) that sat on top of the turbo lines helped a lot for access, but the bolts were basically blind removal. I had to wiggle both lines back and forth for a good 20mins before they were loose enough to stick a flathead into. Sammy's protip on lubing the o-rings was clutch too.
Speaking of o-rings, the one on the bottom line looked fine after I pulled it out but started leaking after I put everything back together. I guess those o-rings weren't exactly reusable. So I had to rush to the parts store to pick up a generic one. OEM is 12x1.5mm. The store only had 12x2.5mm but was still a snug fit with some lube. No more leak after that. On the bright side, since I had to do it twice, the second time only took me 10min to pull everything apart. I guess it's not that bad if you know what you're doing. Be sure to get some spare o-rings when you do the job. The turbo heat cycle aren't kind to the rubbers and they'll all get brittle with time.

Video in this thread. https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1957129 Just make sure the o rings on the bottom line is intact before replacing (the thick line that goes to the turbo) |

Just did this. Note to anyone else doing it. There are “alignment tabs” on the two hoses. You have to rotate them inwards towards each other while simultaneously pulling them outwards. The two “alignment tabs” sort of rest/lock in to the back of the turbo housing. Hope this helps

I'm getting ready to do this job. Looks like FCP euro has the updated part number 11538854735.
Any tips for the connector at the auxiliary water pump? Also I'm assuming you need 2 new o-rings, one for the coolant return line, and one for the line with the half-moon shaped end that shares the hole. |

I'm in the middle of this job right now...What size is the o-ring for the bottom line that goes to the turbo? I removed the old o-ring and I have a new 12mm x 1.5mm o-ring but it seems way too big. The new coolant return line that connects to the auxillary coolant pump comes with a yellow colored o-ring.
Thanks! |

The hardest part of this job was removing the bottom turbo coolant feed line. I accidentally bent the metal bracket for the T-30 screw while prying with a screwdriver so be careful when prying on this area. Also, have a container ready to catch the coolant that will spill out when you remove that bottom line. |
