Transmission swap with 8hp70

Recently made a successful transmission swap with 8hp70 Xdrive and torque from 8hp45 on fully build N55 with larger turbo. After coding and installing the transmission i flashed it with XHP Stage 3 with custom torque limits on every gear on 1200nm. Unfortunately i suffer from torque limitation on brake boosting and i am building rpm and boost very slow. Does anyone know how to fix this and does any one know what this torque code means from the log and how to remove them?

Have you tried running xhp stage 3 with default settings?

To fix it you need to swap the hp45 back in. A bunch of people all tried the HP70 swap and they all went back to the stock trans....All had issues that could not be fixed with tuning.

Made the swap with 8hp70 because the 8hp started to slip on 6th gear.

That's unfortunate, but I guess Pure Drivetrain Solutions would be the better option, a tad expensive but plug and play.

It’s responsive in S but all that’s good for it basically track gear changes hang out too long

Either super sluggish D mode or harsh S.
miss the daily spirited mode from the hp50 D sport / plus

Seriously considering putting the hp50 back

Bimmerace, My two cents the HP70 will work great depending on your power goals and can also be built in the future. It is a real option for big power that has been tested not just by me but also by Peter @ pureturbos and Steven @ Wedgeperformance. If you've got the cash go for a stage 1 hp45 or above if you want a no fuss, plug and play option.

LA1Z24, a tip, don't go asking people for help on removing a transmission in a pm and then go calling their build a failure.
