Does anyone have recent experience with the updated Gyeon Q2 Syncro EVO coating system. I've been maintaining my 13 335i the traditional way for ok results, but am tempted to graduate to teh ceramic world.



Appreciate any and all coments/suggestions.

Are you stuck on the Gyeon brand?

I don't have any experience with that, however great results with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and the EXO.

Super easy application (easy enough for a dummy like me) and I've done it on VW black paint, Ford blue paint, BWM gray paint, Porsche blue paint, and Tesla black paint with zero screw ups.

For ceramic itself, yes, I recommend doing it. The brand itself (Gyeon) I don't have any experience with.

Not stuck on Gyeon, necessarily. Came to my attention earlier today while watching a review by Pan.

Give Gyeon a try (or whatever you choose). It is not that difficult. Take your time, be patient and take an entire weekend and some beer to get it done.

Living in FL, I would HIGHLY recommend the driest day you can find (wait until "winter") and definitely do it indoors. It would be perfect conditions if you had your garage AC'ed and kept it there while applying the ceramic. A humid day isn't a deal stopper, however it will flash quicker and definitely make your job a bit harder and longer. Just a thought.

I hear ya on doing during our Florida "Winter". Most of these ceramics indicated a recommended Max temp of 77 F !!!! Figure I have a 3 day window during our brutal winter season!!!

Exactly! LOL.

However a few days after the 3 day installation season, you can roll out and enjoy the freshly minted car while others are shoveling snow and can't get out of the garage. HA!

Gyeon, Gtechniq, Carpro are top players in the ceramic industry. You’ll do fine with those and the results will be amazing!
