Will 640m rims fit f30?

I'm a brand new BMW owner and a novice when it comes to wheels and rims so I thought I'd turn to you knowledgeable people for answers.

My car is a standard BMW 320 touring (F30) and I have a mate that wants to sell me a setup of 640m R18 rims with wheels.
I havent been able to test them due to him living across the country.

Front: 18x8.5 ET27 with 235/40 Wheels
Rear: 18x9 ET29 with 235/40 Wheels

Any help is much appreciated.

oem tire diameter is 26.0". 235/40/18 is 25.4". they will fit but since the diameter is smaller, the wheel gap will increase. you will also accrue more mileage by a small percent, since it is doing more revs/km. if this doesn't bother you, get them.

personally, i'd change the tire sizes to 245/40/18 front, 255/40/18 rear. both f+r tires will be poking since the offsets are slightly low.

Change out the tires to 255/40 square. Fitment is pretty flush...maybe 2-3mm of poke, but no rubbing and very acceptable.

dmanb2b can you post any 3/4 view shots or shots from the front/back so we can see the "flushness" or poke? Also - I recall from another thread, this picture at the gas station is with your Eiback 05-22 springs yes?

That's correct, let me see if I can find any. Unfortunately, I sold them

Here are some, not the best, but gives you an idea. Unfortunately, I think most are on the stock suspension

When you lowered your car did you get the appropriate amount of tuck?

Just got 640m's off marketplace for a very nice price; and I'm stock height for now. Trying to figure out if I'll like the stance if I go to a spring or coilover.
