Steering Wheel

My new wheel was just delivered today, and it came out great! Went with leather wheel, flat bottom with perforated sides, and tri-color stitch and red 12:00 And I think the dog approves!

New M-Sport Wheel!

Shout out to the guys at CarbonDM for the wheel, it came out exactly as ordered! I went with all leather with perforated sides, red 12:00 and flat bottom. Installing it was super simple, and WOW did it change the look of the car! What do you think?

Injen Performance Wrinkle Black Short Ram Intake

Installed my Injen intake on the car yesterday! The install was pretty straight forward, took about an hour, and went together perfectly. I wanted to install this mainly for the "fun" factor, and it checked that box!

Two things...

First, it sounds so good!! I love how I can even hear the turbos spooling from inside the car! I'm now driving more with the radio down

Secondly, I know they say these don't really add power, but it feels faster and pulls a bit harder through the gears... Could just be a mental thing from hearing the turbos, but either way, I love it!

Highly recommend!

Love it! I just purchased the same exact car a few days ago. 2015 M-sport too and in the same color. These are the only pics I have that's from the website but I'll share more once my car is delivered. I plan to get mine lowered with h&r springs, res delete, darker tint, and car wrap for a small part of my front bumper. What else do you recommend I do first? Also, how many inches did your car get lowered after installing the springs? Sorry I'm kind of new to this.. lol

Awesome! You're going to love the car, and sounds like you're on the right track! Just be careful, its a slippery slope and hard to stop once the mods begin! I was planning on keeping this car stock I'd recommend an upgraded charge pipe early on if you're planning on adding any power mods (I have the VRSF charge pipe on my car), but it really depends what you're wanting to get out of the car... performance? Looks? A good combo of both? The order of my build has been based on my priority, and I'm loving how's coming together!
Depending on your wheels, you may want to look at spacers to get a perfect wheel fitment after you put your springs on. Those H&R sports should lower you about 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back. Can't wait to see how it comes along!

Yeah I'm gonna try my best to not get tempted to do more with my car. Lol. My car is mainly just for aesthetics however I do want my car to sound louder which is why I'm doing res delete + install a flowmaster hp2 muffler. I want it to sound something like this F30. I have 19 inch rims.. Noted on the wheel spacers! Appreciate it. Also, I see carplay was at the top for you as it is for me. Which carplay did you end up getting? I've read through these forums the last couple of days and I'm still undecided. Lol.

You have no issues with emissions with the catless downpipe?

Looks like you are on stock turbo inlet pipe. Highly recommending MST Turbo Inlet, I just did it on my N20. Turbo sounds great in Sport+, better throttle response

Yea, CA makes it tough with emissions for sure...

Yea, I've still got the stock inlet pipe, I'll have to look into that! Is it more for preventative maintenance, or performance? Sounds like I've got something else to add to the mod list!

Turbo Inlet upgrade can probably be listed as both a modification and preventative maintenance. The OEM inlet pipe is just plastic, over time and heat cycles I can see these developing cracks especially around the elbow area that is 'flexible'. The MST one has better build quality and should last lifetime of vehicle. It's larger, increased airflow, increase turbo noise. I'm waiting to purchase charge pipe upgrade and boost pipe as those are plastic as well.

Evolution Racewerks catless downpipe & BM3

Installed my ER catless downpipe and stage 2 Bootmod3 last week, thanks again to the guys at Manji Motorwerks for taking care of me!

Wow! The difference is insane!

First, the sound from the catless downpipe is exactly how I had imagined... Not too loud or raspy, but sounds perfect matted to my 335i axle back with resonator delete. I may actually remove the second resonator to open it up a bit more. And Ive heard that people say there is a bad smell with the DP's, but I haven't noticed it yet...

Secondly... jumping from a stock tune with the Dinan sport tuner straight to Bootmod3 stage 2 is everything I hoped it would be! The power gains are substantial, and definitely noticeable on the butt-dyno! It's amazing how you can get this 4 cylinder motor feeling so powerful!

Gotta get my burble settings dialed in next!

How are you going to pass emissions every 2 years? Just reinstall stock downpipe when it’s time? Or you have special shop to help you?
