I have an f36 440i with MPE installed. The car has recently started making a knocking noise when going over bumps in the road. I originally thought it was the exhaust tips hitting the diffuser because it sounded like metal hitting metal. However, after driving around with some foam in between the tips and the diffuser, the noise continued. There is also rarely a rattling noise when the car idles that appears to be coming from underneath the center console, but I can never recreate this on demand and usually only happens when the car is warm. Can anyone help?
