Help reviewing Datalog - 2013 F30 N55 Xdrive

Hi Folks,
Can someone please take a look at this log and let me know your thoughts? It seems like I lose power when I initially step on it. Sometimes it feels like the clutch slips then catches and the power is there again. From what I can see it looks like boost is dropping off on heavy load but I wanted some more experienced folks to review the log to see if anything else stands out. Also, the clutch slipping feeling doesn't seem to happen in the stock map.

Looks like some overboost and throttle closure starting at around 3000rpm then clutch slip and the car pulls boost and timing at 3495 rpm. You can log a higher gear in low rpm/high boost to confirm as it should slip worse.

Also, you should not be running stage 2 without an upgraded IC, and let the car warm up before doing WOT logging man... your oil temp was only 122F...

That's fair. Having some trouble finding time and space to do a pull and I had an opening leaving work today. To you're point, it was probably stupid not to warm up first. Do you think the clutch slip is related to the overboost? I'll try to do a better log soon to see if it looks any different.

All BM3 maps overboost (pretty much by design), but they usually dont close throttle unless its significant. I would try another log or two in 3rd and one in 4th/5th to see if the clutch clearly slips

You also mentioned that I shouldn't be running stage 2 since I don't have an upgraded IC. Should I be running stage 1 93 with a catless DP though?

You should have an IC for stage 1 and IC+DP for stage 2. You can run any tune with a DP you just dont need it for stage 1; you will still get the performance gains though. On the other hand you really should not be running any tune without an upgraded IC. The car has no idea what IC/CP/DP hardware you have installed so you can technically flash any tune with stock parts even if its a bad idea

An upgraded clutch is essentially a required mod on any f series n55 6mt car running stage 2 tune and higher. Either go down to a stage 1 tune or start planning out your clutch upgrade.
