I just had a 2014 320xi as a loaner and it's a great car. Unlike 328, it offers a great value for the money (if you don't go crazy with options). My ideal configuration would be 6MT, Sport and Lighting Packages + BMS tune of course

Nice thread!
New to forum, but i got my 2014 320i in early December and am loving it, enjoy every moment i get to drive it. Dealer had config with elements i really wanted, so i took it over ordering (couldnt wait): Sports package, silver paint kept it basic. in retrospect, would have liked folding seats, HK audio, and prob lighting. other things didnt add value for me; heated seats in phoenix arent a necessity, power seats arent necessary, my phone has superior navigation, etc. im 26 coming from a jeep wrangler, but im quite impressed! i didnt notice a sig diff in power or feeling in testing 320/328. love sports package. great steering wheel. suspension is awesome. love the driving modes. Comfort is very smooth and easy, very luxurious feeling. but Sport mode is my fav, great throttle response, very tight/heavy/feeling steering, and just great fun driving. And value for money! got it out for $32k and just $315 per month. |

the car is not "suck into your seat fast", but it is noticeably sporty and MOVES rather too easily (very smooth). almost feel like more power is not needed. but i do figure, for <$500, why not? how easy is it to really install? i went through the online pdf (it notes for 328, i assume same for 320), and there re numerous connectors, moving weather stripping, etc. seems easy to screw up. |

It's $400, not $500 and the install takes about 5 minutes. It's 3 sensors you are plugging into and it's the easiest thing in the world. As far as that weather strip and tray, you aren't removing anything, you're just pulling a few things back and then snapping back in place. Really easy. I definitely wouldn't go back to stock at this point.

Great thread!
I have had my 328 for about 2 weeks and am waiting for my wife's 320 to come in another month, so Ill post pics and a comparative review then. Dealer had almost the exact 320 on the lot that my wife was wanting, but it didn't have the fold down rear seats which I think is a must, so we ordered instead. No sport package for her because she likes the standard seats more, but I agree with most here that sport package is a great option.

What exactly do you mean? The 320 shares many, many of the same parts with the 328 and they both have the n20 engine. It's easy to find stuff. Start with burger motor sports and get a stage 1 tune. Best $400 you'll ever spend. Transforms the car. Evolution Motorwerx and others make a decent downpipe, etc.

Great build. How did you get enhanced bluetooth without ordering navigation?
