Map update from one car to another?

Evening,

I’m about to change my car (reducing my monthly’s) from a dec 16 to a march 14. I know the nav is a different version, but can I download the latest version for my current car and upload to my new?

Thanks

Yes absolutely, as long as they're the same head unit (id4,5 & 6 are all the same), I always use mine to update courtesy cars.
