BMW Road Map Australia and New Zealand NEXT 2017 has just been released recently.

How do we get it?

you either pay for an FSC code (I can't remember the email address) or you subscribe via BMW's connected drive.

I think given it's $50 or so USD per FSC code it's almost just as worthwhile to subscribe given it's for 3 years. I haven't decided what I want to do yet.

AUD$159 for 2 years is what I paid 2 weeks ago. I was about to buy a single code for US$50 but figured it's better value for the subscription. I think they release updates twice a year don't they?

yeah that was my thinking too. when you do exchange rates etc it's actually not bad value if you want the latest all the time.

It said first time have to put in a code which is like a gazillion characters. Is this right? I'm not taking about the normal 25 or so but this was like more than 50 characters.

When I updated it didn't ask me for a code.

Although, I did get a email with a code 20 characters long.

If you have an actual subscription it would be from the BMW portal. Assuming it's working at the time which is a rare occurrence. I had to get my dealer to do it as it was down indefinitely when I tried 2 months ago and it's not the first time

I just updated yesterday using the BMW portal and had no issues

I have uploaded the 2017-1 Next maps. I will keep the torrent running for a few days, hopefully by then others will have completed d/l and are seeding the map.

I've opened the d/l to 25 mb/s so hopefully shouldn't take too long.

Just look on the first page of the Australia forum.

Just to confirm for the questions asked, this is the 2017-1 map. I'm also on NBT if that makes a difference (late MY14 pro NAV)
