Thank you for posting this information.
If anyone is looking for the electrochromic dimming mirror electronics control module, I have a left hand (offside) for sale -> https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1637800 |

Thanks to GEP77 for this thread. I bought a dimming mirror hoping it would be just a straight swap only to realise there is missing wiring.
After a bit of searching I found this thread, realised I needed another module for inside the mirror, which I managed to source off ebay and I now have 2 folding, auto dimming door mirrors I cant believe the penny pinching from BMW only fitting a dimming mirror on the drivers side. |

Just an FYI this was due to a change in EU law and not BMW penny pinching. It's irritating that BMW didn't reduce the price of the option to match. Presumably some cockwomble on two wheels got themselves run over by a car and the driver claimed their mirror had dimmed in defence ☹️

So does Jaguar. And both mirrors dip when in reverse.

I realize this thread is old but I am planning on retrofitting this to my 2018 F30.
It has blind spot detection lights, turn signal lights, auto fold and auto tilting. Does any of the options above matter when retrofitting this? As in will the "with dimming" module work regardless of the other options? Thank you in advance! |
