Coding out Adaptive Headlight with Bimmercode

Hi All,

I have a 2013 BMW 335xi with Adaptive Headlights, it appears one of the motors on the driver side is broken so I constantly getting the error of "adaptive headlight failure". I was told it would cost a few thousand at BMW to replace but I was just wondering if I could code out this feature using BimmerCode? (What value do I need to turn off in expert mode if any ?)

Garage List
Get yourself a ENET cable and ESYS.
It would take literally 2 minutes. Nothing more.

I have a 2015 F15 (X5) with the same problem.

I have ESYS and an ICOM. Any idea where I can get specific info on what parameter to code, and the code values for my particular vehicle, to do this?

Thank you!

idk about your x5 but for my f30 it was VO code out the adaptive xenons (replace 524 with 522) and then some fdl coding in the FEM - lwr ahl typ to auto./dyn. lwr instead of auto./dyn lwr+ahl

been a while so not sure if i've forgotten any more coding

I'm looking at this again, after taking a long break.

I'm curious, where did you obtain the numeric value "522" below? Also, "lwr ahl typ to auto./dyn. lwr"?

Is there a printed dictionary somewhere defining these values and codes? Or, it is a "word of mouth" thing?

Its VO codes for BMW. You can search and get a full list with name attached.
You just change the vehicle order with the vo codes then change the fdl
