Picked up my car from dealer under warranty to diagnose whirring noise i believe to be consistent with timing chain. Dealer could not replicate, i don't hear it now.

Got my servicing done.
Maybe its just in my head, but the car seems to be running smoother now. I wasn't even expecting that.

I searched "adhesive alcantara" and eventually settled on this stuff:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The quality of this is actually so-so. Might try this in the future: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...RFBZH9IS&psc=1

Found out last night they would be replacing the radiator fan for my drivetrain malfunction mishap. Today I got a call to let me know they broke the coolant line while working on it so they had to rush order that now too. Won't get my car back till EOD Friday at the earliest now. Also concerned about their skills too lol.

Parked safely at the station - apparently this just happened- looks like everyone was ok. Euro delivery plate on the M3 by the looks of it.

I had F80 control arms installed and the ride height raised about 1/2". It is now nearly max setting for KW V2's.
Improvements are very noticeable on my twisty backroads commute. Understeer is much harder to find, steering feel has improved, and turn in is sharp as a scalpel. Have a track day @ Lime Rock on Monday to where I am anxious to see the benefits most.

Yes I'm not a huge fan of YMB but the wheels are unfortunate. Shame for both drivers, but that's why it's an accident. Looked like everyone was ok though.

Today,
@55k miles 2013 BMW 335i 6MT -oil change with Liqui-Moly 5w40 (with ECS magnetic drain plug) 7qts -tranny drain and fill with Redline MTL: 2 quarts (took about 1.5 bottles) -rear differential drain and fill (only has “fill plug”) Redline 75w85 (spoke to rep at Redline about it because I was going to go with the popular 75w90 -coolant flush (BMW OEM coolant) Took it at M-Tech Autocare, go see EJ, this dude is legit and knows exactly what he’s doing. Read his profile on YELP and talk to him. |

Nice man. Ima try it. Like that change up. How many feet did u end up using when doing all trim? We might have the same trim, I like the flat red but the brushed aluminum I might want to change up. Lmk |

Of the roll I got, I used less than half. I'd guess 2-2.5 feet? Because it's so wide and the trim pieces are all pretty thin, the width is enough to to cover a couple pieces.
