Currently buying stage 2 turbo for my 328i. I’m trying to figure cheapest way possible to do this, meaning install tune dyno. I called this place near me they said they could do this.
1. Dyno car before and after
2. Install the turbo
3. Tune car with the new turbo
They quoted me 2000$ so with the new turbo, tax and everything I’m thinking some where around 3509-3800$.
Would I be better to try and figure out how to install the turbo, I can’t find any good videos on that if someone has one please share!😊 Pay a local shop to install it which I would assume that could be any where from 599-1000? The first place I called was 1000$ for tune and 1000$ for the install. 1000$ for a turbo install seems quite expensive. Also have another option to order Bm3, look for a map that supports upgraded turbo, and just pay someone to install it and screw dyno save a extra 500$ roughly. So a lot of options trying to just get the best option for money wise. Also what other upgrades are recommended with a stage 2. Cars currently Fbo at the moment, are there any other just needs to get in order to run this setup smooth with minimal problems. All plugs coils and oil have been changed within the last 1000 miles. Dyno won't really be necessary unless you really want to know the HP you're making. Street tuning can be just as effective with a remote tuner through BM3. I'd look into that to save some money on dyno time.

Thanks man ! He did say the tune is 1000$ regardless I was just excited because the tuner said to me he would put it on the dyno only reason why I gave it a thought

You need a custom map for bm3 + upgraded turbos.

Hey mate, contact flashtuned (WA Based) regarding stage 2 turbo's the owner Andy is also building a forged N20 and is making his own stage 2 turbo's. It'll work out cheaper than importing a PS2 turbo to Australia.
