Winter Wheel ?

Will the type 158s from the e90 fit on my 335xi sport line? Here are the specs on the 158s:

Type 158 (17x8 ET34 225/45 R17)

These were my winter wheels for my e90, and I was hoping to use them as winter wheels for my f30.

Yes they will and here is the proof. I have the same wheels for winter. The only thing is that your speedo will be slightly "slower"

+1...I was under the impression you would need at least a spacer in the front to prevent break rubbing. I am looking to use some style 193s for my winters. I would think the 193s should have a little more clearance due to the extra inch in diameter but I am not sue if they have the same offset as the 158s

Nope, they work just great, no rubbing either externally (tire on body) or internally (brake and such). The 158s have the same offset and width as F30 (non-staggered) wheels, minus the diameter 17 vs 18.

My wheels were transferred from my E92 to the F30 by my dealer when I took delivery and the master tech knew they would fit. Which pissed off the parts guy who was more than ready to sell me a BMW OEM winter package for a few Ks.

193s are 8x18 Front, ET 34 and 8,5x18 Rear, ET 37.
Here is a good place to check specs for BMW OEM Wheels.

Great, thanks. So the fronts are the same width and offset as the 158s so I should be good to go.

the opposite actually, the speedometer and odometer will read higher than actual with E90 sized tires.

A typo, I meant speed will be slower (then the speedometer reading) but you are correct.

Guys, I thought the bolt dimension was different, i.e. M12 in E9x and M14 on F3x?
But perhaps the new wheel nuts will work well through the old rim, if the holes are wide enough ...

Yes, correct on the bolt size, but the hole is large enough to fit M14 bolts.
