Any cons to running a piggyback and constantly pushing it on the track? I remember reading somewhere that the added boost cracked the charge pipe. I have the A8 tune.
Charge pipe failing is due to the extra boost, whether you are running a piggyback or a flash you will get this problem.
Get an Evolution Racewerks charge pipe and this problem is gone

Can somebody confirm my following understanding?
1) All of N20 piggyback listed in OP do not adjust ignition timing like N54 in the old days (before late 2011).
2) Is the extra 4psi boost on top of stock 17psi not significant enough to draw piggyback tuners' attention to ignition timing adjustment?

Correct piggy adjusts boost and let the ECU take care of timing.
Not sure i understand the second question.

Thanks for input, Mike.

I remember you guys introduced CPS feature to N54 piggyback and yielded better results than prior days without it. The same thing is not had with N20, which got me thinking that was it because of boost over stock isn't that much (15 psi vs. 7 psi stock with N54), and thus the second query.

BTW, I have a lot of guys running your software around (challenge and sometimes beats my bolt on E92 M3...) and most of them are extremely happy with plug and play and instant gains.

This question would probably best answered by Burger Tuning.
I think you have me mixed up with someone at Burger Tuning ( i am not aware of any Michael or Mike at Burger Tuning).

Is it true, that piggy backs, especially racechip, are only affecting the engine power in the speed range of 80-180 km/h?
I know it sounds not logical, that is how it sounds to me, but some users support this.
Do those piggy backs increase top speed?

piggyback will increase boost on all RPM and all gears so it will increase speed starting from 0

Thank you for the response.
Do you happen to know if racechip alters the ignition timing map?
I believe that it only chenges the turbo boost target, as it tricks tne map and maf signals. It this right?

Racechip works exactly the same way as BMS JB stage 1 and AFE by adding boost to your stock targets

Then I don't see how such a piggy back can improve the mpg, since it doesn' t affect the mixture afr or the ignition timing.

It should not affect MPG in any way

Great review Mike.
On the Racechip it has 3 connectors: maf, map and tmap.
Tunable power goes from C settings to D,E,F,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

Take care

Just got this review

Mike was very helpful over at the F30 forums on details of the device and instructions.
Device works as expected, an extra bump over power is felt above 2500 RPMs and can hear the diverter valve much more. Easy install. Easy to adjust setting, I have the MPPK in my 2015 335xi and running at the +3psi setting seems to work better for me, but I only have 91 octane gas available.

And thats another one

Just got back from my vacation so I finally took time to install the JB+. I was going to see what Dinan was going to release, but I figured what the heck, it's only $199, if I don't like it I can resell it. Was super happy with my JB4 on my M5 and Burger always has high quality, NO issues. First off they LIED about the 60 second install. It took me 80 seconds because I contemplated 20 sec. about the possibility of breaking the plug. But it was an incredibly easy install. I always instinctively put my lil' beast in Sport+ as soon as I start up, but because I swore I screwed up the install (it was too easy!), I just drive away. Initially I thought ok, it's got a decent increase, especially for the price. But then I realized my exhaust was quieter than normal. Put it in Sport+ mode, idiot! O.M.G. This thing came absolutely ALIVE! Especially midrange and above. That was my main complaint, that the engine thrust would "peter out" over 5500 rpm. But now it pulls HARD to redline. And my ECU hasn't even adapted yet! Now full disclosure, I am running the Active Autowerke intercooler with 93 octane gas, but DAMN, this thing HAULS now! Absolutely INCREDIBLE value at this price point. Now I may still go with another tune, but it had better offer a lot more ROI than this thing offers.

Would you be able to updated each on the amount of HP and TRQ they offer. I know peiople can look it up but would be nice to have at a quick glance.

Also any plans to put together and compare the Flash Tunes for US Based only?
