I'm still stock, but I don't notice this when I have traction control off (Sport+, DTC, or ESC off). When traction control on, it limits torque in a ton of places, turning the wheel tightly, starting off, after shifting...

But at the drag strip, I had no issues with bogging after shift. It shifts great at speed... as long as you're in DTC or better.

I actually find it more noticable changing into 3 and 4th at full throttle near redline.
I purposely try to slow down my 1-2 shift as it's too easy to beat the synchros and crunch gears.

I notice it in all modes, even DSC off.
I found especially frustrating at the drag strip.

I've done that, no change. It's a software issue.

MHD only just released a shift bog fix for the N54 at the end of August so I'm not expecting this will be resolved any time soon.
This coupled with the rev hang issue makes me think I should have just got an auto.

Any update on your iOS app for iPhone and trans flash?

Hi I would really purchase the flash for the B58.

How do I load the flash file?

Does the flash come with the cable or do I get the flash software via email?

I have tried searching and emailing Mission in regards some clarity even saw all videos, seems like a bit of a grey area.

Flash file is flashed with a cable purchased from Amazon. Once you connect to the MP server you provide the stock file to MP and they modify and upload it back to the server. You then flash the ECU (must be connected to internet).

I wonder how the trans flash will be applied and how much power if anything much it will add. Is a trans flash a true power adder or the trans will have better shift points only?

yes, transmission generates power along with the engine for sure. you will see +30 hp easily.

😁 That would be great. Surprised there hasn't been any HPLP fuel pump talk if that's the case. One thing that makes me wonder is the other guy releasing a flash soon M flasher doesn't talk anything about hplp preventing his stage 2 from making power and I spoke with him directly about this. He said it wasn't an issue. 🤔. Eventually as we know more about this engine facts will come out on what u can and can't do to the B58.

I think it would be more on the tq side right? Cause all I ever hear is tq limitations on these trans and not hp.

He's got one of those darn fancy, new-fangled internal combustion transmissions. Got its own separate gas tank and all, don'tcha know? Runs best on straight E85. Generates almost as much power as my new red start/stop button I just installed.

transmission flash will convert 8HP into internal combustion engine-transmission which uses ATF as a fuel when you floor it. You will need just to add ATF more often, that's the only drawback.


P.S. dumb question (how much hp will add transmission flash) - dumb answer.
