Really nice space you have there.
I don't really have a man cave. We have a spare room in our house which I made mine with a sim racing setup, gaming PC, got all my lego in there etc but its only a small room really and even so I have now lost the space as we're preparing to have a family. I would like to build something in the garden some day to be some sort of "man cave" but thats a way off, I think many blokes would kill to have a setup similar to yours |

Our new garage (well; 2021) is my man-cave
Got my powercube in there for training etc and it's got all my tools/workbench and beer fridge It houses all the white goods too No room for cars unfortunately; but it was never built for that even though it'd fit the F31 nicely...

Loft is my current man cave/office. I have the turbo trainer up there and a big screen, desk/computer setup for work, electric piano, small weights bench and a bed for a wee lie down in the afternoon.
Planning on building a 3m x 4m workshed in the garden in the spring to use for bike maintenance, woodworking and general manly tool-based shit. |

Just before the house renovations started cleared out the shed, it was pretty nifty with a beer fridge and serving bar.
It's now taken over by the old kitchen units. I would miss it.....but I miss not living in the house more! |

Not really a man cave because my wife and I both use it. But, I definitely use it the most the time. Dining, lounging, watching F1, we even made a catio for the cats to lounge out there with us.

No man cave, but hobbies / toys spread over several places in the house. Garage is very much a hands on workshop, the 'study' is where I play with the smaller stuff (and seems to serve as a communal dumping ground ), and arcade machines are in the kitchen.
Summer house has the beer fridge and a small table football game (which needs replacing with something bigger), but doesn't really get used in the winter, as seems silly to spend money on heating it (it's pretty well insulated, but still electric heaters), when the house is already warm. Would love the idea of a single large space for everything (still nowhere for the Scalextric for example), but very grateful for the space we have, especially given that we live in a stupidly expensive part of Surrey. |

My man-cave/garage as it stands
Bit of a tip in places; I'm hoarding cardboard for some new raised beds that I'll be buiding come Spring; cardboard is great for bulking out the base & I'll use felled branches from the woods behind too to create a 'rot' layer etc Just had a bulk wood delivery too; the boxes outside are full & I've nowhere else to put the bag It's my 'over Christmas' job to get in there sorted and hang more bits on the walls and rafters to get it off the floor etc

I'm in the process of idly house hunting the moment as I want to be further north in the next 18 months. One of the major pieces I'm looking for is the absolute minimum of a double garage, preferably bigger. One house I came across the other day is a working croft with about 250m2 of sheds and barns. Unfortunately it's a) a little early and b) just a bit too far in the wrong direction from Inverness (east rather than west), but man that sort of thing would be perfect. I don't want a collection of expensive cars but I would like to have more than I currently do, and have the space to work on them. Plus that would make an epic space to have a home bouldering wall for training too. Currently everything outdoor sport related, bike related and model/collectible related is crammed into the office or the loft, and the 1500 books I've got are mostly stacked triple deep in the corner too. It would be nice to be able to have all the outdoor kit somewhere on its own and then all the dirty/greasy/mechanical stuff in a workshop. I'm a lot more fussed about the size of the sheds and workshop potential than I am the size of the house! That would also make my mate happy as he could get rid of the Midget shell he's currently storing for me...and it would give me proper space to start building it up, and of course collecting more big equipment to 'help' with that!

The garage was completely empty when I did it; didn't even have the roller door fitted so the warm early summer air could get it all dried off ASAP I was coated in the stuff as it spattered everywhere Wife did the cuting in of the floor edges as she's a short arse and easier for her to reach

I painted mine with a roller on extension bar, second coat was so much quicker. I've kept one side clear so I can still fit a car if needed.
