Hi folks,

I'm a user from The Netherlands. Just replaced my 330i E90 by a 320dA F30 with PPK. Already done some mods to it, but the pictures are without the mods.

I have also been to a dyno to test what this car really delivers. Hearing a lot of stories that the PPK is underrated by BMW. I also have a Astra 1.9 CDTI with 200ps and 450Nm of torque (absolute beast) as comparison. Well, to cut this story short. The astra is the faster car. On the dyno the bimmer produced more BHP than BMW says (approx. 205 vs 200) but the torque figure is way down! It is the standard 380Nm of torque, tested on multiple gears. We have also tested the v-max and it is limited to exactly 250 km/h on the speedo, so 240 km/h on GPS.

I'm not so happy with the results, but one thing is sure, it definitely feels faster than 380 NM's, don't understand a thing

Well Enjoy and more pics will come with the mods:

- Eibach Pro-Kit (absolutely no loss in comfort with the adaptive suspension!!)
- Black Performance grills
- 5MM spacers for the rears.
- Performance exhaust tips
- Bavsound system

Looks good, the MPPK is definitely a must have on the 20d. I wish BMW offered something similar for the 20i. I am very surprised that the torque remained the same as stock though.

Yeah, me too but it feels definitely faster. I have an appointment at BMW the 25th. The are going to check it. Maybe it was because of the dyno but that will be a very big coinsedence that the torque remained exactly the same as stock.

Few more pics. Cleaned the car a bit

Thanks man! They sit lovely. Always had leather until this one. Isn't it just plug 'n play, otherwise you simply couls order the package from Europe . I think the program is a bit too soft for me. Top speed remains approx 230 km/h (little more). With aftermarkt tuners, they get more out of it. But let's ser. Maybe they can change my mind after the workshop visit on the 25th.

Congrats on the ride..that's a beautiful looking machine!! Wish you tons of happy miles ahead!! I have the same car (320d + MPPK) and I'm planning to boost up the power further by a custom map or a piggyback but haven't finalised on anything as of now. Do you have any plans like that running in your mind?

That's a great looking car, and liking your list of mods

Can I ask, did you get the black grilles and performance exhaust tip from your BMW dealer??

I'm not a fan of piggyback tuning. What I possibly have in mind is to tune the old ECU (standard one) and mount it to the car, and change ECU's during services. However, I don't know if the dealer can discover this... If they can, I won't be doing any tuning to the engine the coming 2 years, due to warrenty.

@ammo thanks man! The grills were part of the deal. I have bought the exhaust at the dealership yes, *and enjoyed a little bit of 'old employment discount'
