I did, however the bespoke Cables from door camera pigtails to door wiring block were garbage so found two door looms from a breaker.

Didn’t fit side view camera (those in the front bumper) as not needed for 360 view

And this driver supports 5 cameras? that is, 2 more in the front bumper?

what is this cable for connecting the camera? coxial?

I am in the process of sourcing the parts needed to conduct this retrofit. Does anyone have a link they can share related to the FAKRA HSD LVDS Straight Female to FAKRA HSD LVDS Right Angle Female Dacar 535 4-Core 1M cables?

My friend just picked up a 2013 335i for cheap cause he needs the engine for an X5.

I noticed this car has the surround view option and would love to be able to swap the parts onto my 2014 435i convertible. My car already has rear camera and PDC.

Will there be any issues using the F30 parts on my F33? Would I be better off buying new cables then trying to remove the wiring from the sedan? With the moving top and rising trunk on the convertible I know the rear camera cable is a lot different than the sedans or coupes.

is it possible to install the TOP VIEW camera located on both sides of the side mirror, and get the surround view?

i already use the surround view module for the rear view (parking), and plan to buy the side mirror camera.

but i do NOT want to buy the both front side bumper since it involves drilling the bumper.

with that said, if i buy the top view only, will the surround view work?

Side cameras in the front bumper cover are for Park Assist and have nothing to do with Surround View.

You will need the cables to connect to the mirror mounted cameras, that's for sure. Might also need programming to activate the Surround View. You will never know until you have the cameras installed and connected.

lol, of course i understand i need to buy cables to connect the camera to the module. this is NOT a wireless camera, lol, but i want to know, if i buy the top view, would i be able to use surround view?

Thanks. I believe you just need to buy the camera and cables, right? I already have the module. Can you share where you buy the hsd cable for the top camera?

Also when the car is in reverse, does it show the 360 view in addition to rear view?

When in reverse only the reverse camera activates. The top view/270 degree cameras only display while in drive.

thanks, so the top view camera can only be turned on while on driving? how about the bird eye view? when can it be turned on?

also, do i need to buy the center console camera button?
i understand i have to buy the whole row, but curious if this button is for top view or for the front bumper.

When you activate the surround view, is your rear camera a diferent colour than the side cameras? Cameras on side are different colors and is annoying me. Somthing like in here: https://www.6post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1732238
