Thanks so much for the photos -- it's quite extensive.

Just picked up my F10 and about to start my own tour/honeymoon, albeit a lot shorter. My one concern is parking. Do you have any insight or tips for how you avoided door dings or being bumped?

I would try not to be too obsessive about it.... just enjoy, it's only a car...
enjoy your time with your company...

eventually later, you will get some ding ... there will be a first... hopefully it's not too big...
but life goes on...

the F30 and F10 are not the kind of car to become exclusive or raise in value...
so no need to sweat the details...

i hate how people baby up their brand new car for the resale value ... you lose the real connection with the car... that would be my tip.

Thanks for the tip. I keep my cars for a long time, so it isn't about resale value -- I just have OCD!!!!

I agree! Everyone here has been complaining about my color combo (Estoril blue with Coral Red leather) but I plan on keeping mine for a while. And the color combo is exciting to me which is why I'm keeping it as such! This will be a keeper!

What's wrong with Blue and Red ??
it's very patriotic ! .... or should i say Red and Blue

it could also be the French flag ....

but no matter, i would much rather have Estoril II with Coral Red
than Modern line with Beige Dashboard/steering wheel over Black leather...

One of our members is very courageous getting that...
so you have not problem in my book.

Hopefully we get to see your car very soon John !

A quick question. Does the 19inch affects the ride quality? and are those all season you have there or summer performance tyres?

Thank you

No, you have to get a taxi or bus or train or get a private driver - Rolf.

@DrivenByE30 -

MOST.....EPIC....ED....Thread EVER!

After reading through this thread page by page, my wife and I (along with our son and our future baby boy (or) girl ) are going to have to do an ED for our next purchase. What is even cooler is that you got to enjoy this experience with your parents. Not to mention your food pics, really make the ED experience that much better and worth it!

Seeing your pics really makes the choice quite simple for me in regards to what color I may choose for a future Bimmer purchase...Imperial Blue looks AMAZING! A 6 Series Gran Coupe, or a Z4, or a 535i in this color would all look amazing just as your F30....It's been a long time since I have post in the forums, but had to just give credit where credits due! Thanks for sharing your ED experience my friend....

Thanks a lot! It was almost addictive to follow you in your european trip.
Although you did not talk too much about how you liked the car and its numerous features.

Any damage you do or receive during your ED trip, will be fixed before you get your car back at re-dellivery!

So you do not need to worry Lee! My car is undergoing reparation to the dents and scratches i made during my trip.

that's why i still haven't receive my car even after 8 weeks waiting since dropping off my car.

Hi ABC, no i hired Rolf to pick us up! He made the experience much more personal! Check him out at Bimmerfest
But come back here for posting and share your experience

I got Luxury Line, and love it.... All BMW lines are nice but too bad we can only choose one.

Welcome among us BimmerPosters! Thanks for visiting this page!
During my 15 days with the car, i didn't feel the ride quality was affected by the 19in... my Parents rode with me, and they never complained about the ride being harshed or what not...

I slept comfortably while my parents drove... so no, the 19in are ok.
i dont know what sort of tires i had...

Welcome among us BimmerPosters
you are welcome and Thanks for coming here, dropping by!

As said, this was a honeymoon, so i cannot possibly give any objective review of the car... wait until i get the car back,
then i will be able to give you an indepth review...

During the trip, the car performed very well... but my judgement were clouded by this sense of unreal dream becoming reality...

i have driven both E46, and E90.

My Sister had the E46, i wanted to buy it from her, it was titanium silver 325i (2001) with manual transmission

but she traded it for the E90 to the dealership

She did it before i could stop her! She knew i wanted it, but she didn't want me to have so many cars for myself!

I could have gotten the E30, E36, E46, and now F30 in my garage!
(all in manual transmission)

And now she is driving an E90 LCI 328i AT
she doesnt like the AT, but she just couldn't find a MT in the dealership inventory...

i drove her E46 325i enough to know that i still prefer my E36 328i over it.
Her E46 was nice, but it was too comfortable for my taste... even tho i could have been faster than my E36... but the feeling driving it, i prefer the E36, it raw-er... it's more manly... it's more direct...

i also drove her E90, but i haven't done so enough to see the difference...
i will probably try to compare her 328i E90 to my 335i E90.

I have driven 335i E90 first generation, it was FAST ! as i briefly remember it!
it was impressive!

Anything between the E36 and F30 that you owned yourself, apart from driving it?
