KW V3 owners please share your thoughts

Hello guys,

Recently stumbled across a used KW V3 for pretty good price locally.

I couldn't find much information regarding the ride quality especially in terms of comfort for the KW V3.

I currently have the Eibach Pro Kit with stock shocks, and wondering those who have the KW V3 or rode a F30 on them before could share some thoughts regarding the ride comfort compared to lowering springs or the stock suspension.

Thank you!

KW V3 coilovers offer independent rebound and compression controls. You will be able to tune suspension behavior across a much wider envelope. Lowering springs offer one setting - and it cannot be changed.

I suggest to explore whether KW V3 lowering range is what you want. If the price is right, then these coilovers would be worth a serious consideration.

Lowering range should fit my needs as this is a daily driver, even with Eibach Pro Kit I am pretty satisfy with the drop.

What about the comfort? Does it offer smoother ride and feel when going over uneven surfaces compared to the lowering springs + stock shocks?

What size wheels are you planning to use with KW V3 coilovers: 18", 19", 20"?

You'll like the KW3 once you adjust them to your liking and comfort would be a bit better or more then the lowering springs but not worse and they'll last you a long time. The lowering springs will eventually bust out your shocks causing you to fishtail on hard acceleration lol

radicalrev, 19" wheels are a good match for KW V3 coilovers. In fact, if you decided to install 20" wheels, KW V3 would be a practical necessity in order to have the flexibility to adjust compression and rebound since the smaller sidewall would transmit more road imperfections, making the ride harsher.
