Hey All,

I have a 2017 BMW 330i xDrive that has 36.2k Miles on it.

This is the second time that has happened to me. Last time was around 6 months ago in October but I didn't think much about it. I recall both days being rainy and each having one instance where I had to slam on the brakes slightly harder than usual due to traffic lights.

Anyone ever have a situation like this? Is this sound normal?

sounds like a cooling item ( airco / water ) something in this range i think.
open the trunk and try to locate the sound

I've noticed that these cars make a lot of noise all over the car for a good period of time after the car shuts off as things reset, reposition themselves, etc.

Generally, these sounds are harmless unless you notice something off with the car.

BTW, a good scanner like the Foxwell NT510 can help give peace of mind with these things. Checks for error codes past, present, and transient for all systems and can help save a trip to the dealer.
