So I've been looking at the Bilstein B16 coilovers but noticed that they don't offer a line with the EDC kit.
I was told that my car would throw errors if I eliminated the EDC and wouldn't allow me to use traction control.

My question is is there anyway to delete/code EDC off allowing you to use traction control?
Any help is appreciated.

Is there a specific chassis I have to enter? Cause every time I enter my year make and model it says it doesn't fit.

And I know on keisMotorsports it says they're discontinued.
What year and model are you trying?

Hmmm strange, I just tried the same thing.
Choosing US as region, I get the same answer as you: It does not fit the car.
And choosing international, it fits.
Must be something about the US models I think.

Then try KW instead?

I'm thinking of canceling EDC by coding it off. But I hear it can cause issues down the line.

Hoping someone would chime in that has and been riding like that for a min.

I've talked to some folks who coded out the edc with no issues long term. I'm getting ready to do it myself. I also don't see why it wouldn't be reversible if you wanted to go back to stock shocks. I think that was an unfounded rumor around here. You need to unplug the edc module in the trunk, near the battery when you do this as well. One possible issue could be taking the car to the dealer who reloads all software to the car as it was delivered from the factory in an attempt to troubleshoot some problem. In that case, the edc coding would be restored and you'd need to code it out again

The Bilstein B16-DampTronic is the EDC version. I don't recommend B16's because Bilstein does a poor job of matching spring rates and dampers. They ride very rough.

KW has an EDC version of their coilovers. KW has a reputation for high quality and excellent matching of springs and dampers for a much more comfortable ride than Bilstein. Keep the EDC. It's high tech that you paid for. Just get KWs that will use it properly

Hope this helps!

Coding out the edc was as easy as it was rumored to be. It took about 15 minutes, going slowly to read and reread the instructions. No equipment to buy other than the 5$ obd-ethernet adapter from eBay. The esys and psdzdata software was easily downloaded free from the web and bye bye to my crappy edc suspension programming. You are now free to use any oe or aftermarket parts once removed, and I don't see why it couldn't be reversed by following the same process to reinstall the backup FA file that you create in step one of the removal. You do need a good bench charger or power converter to keep your battery from running down while doing the job, and my car had gone back to sleep by the time I was ready for the last step, so I just had to jump in and switch on the ignition again to complete the coding. Over all, it was a simple task.
