Sold the 440i

Found a good M340i today and BMW have offered me £3K more than what I paid for the car 12 months ago. In January it was 3K less than what I paid for the car but its gone up £6K and I bite

I’ve done 7K miles and 12 months ownership and made £3K

Looks great thats a nice colour too. The wheels looks like the f80/f82 competition wheels - are a pita to clean where the spokes cross!

That's how I got into my BMW. Purchased a new Jeep Wrangler 2 years ago. Sold it for $5k more than what I paid. Used the equity leftover after the loan payoff to pay cash for my 335i.

Beautiful car OP, great that you made on the car after owning it too. Just out of interest, as I'm in a very similar situation, did you find the cost of the M340i had increased by a fair whack too?

No the cost of the 340i hadn't gone up. I was worried that BMW had put their prices up so basically your not gaining anything

When I got there the price of the car was £5K more than the online price. I was about to say what's going on, as wasn't going to buy it. They explained it hadn't sold for the window price and just dropped the price online but hadn't had time to drop the forecourt price

I asked if how they price their cars during these weird times and basically if they don't sale they drop the price, they need to meet sales targets and don't like cars hanging around long. So it was end of July and wanted the car sold and picked up before the 30th July. So I got a bargain

Looking at the spec I can't find any car online which comes close to the price
