New Grand Tour - Lochdown
Next week 30 July.
I think looking at this ... more of the same old stuff and looking a bit tired now. Much prefer Clarksons Farm.

The Grand Tour unfortunately has to include the hangers on of Hammond and May who have kinda some their thing too many times now. Clarkson is affirming himself as a sole pilot along with a few new characters in the farm show.

Well call me a simple bumpkin but the trailer made me laugh (even though it's the same GT/TG formula) and I'll happily watch the full version.

If you read Richard Porter's book on Top Gear, or listen to his podcast with Jonny Smith you'll appreciate it even more, realise its not scripted, and that 100's of hours are filmed from loads of different cameras that takes an absolute age to edit. I still think it's quite special. |
