I bought an a quad tip diffuser, however, my exhaust currently touches it, will installing new tips also touch it? Did you guys ran into any trouble installing the tips or was it a simple weld job or clip on?

One shop is quoting me for $250 for valance/tips installation.

Another said that there won't be an issue but I'm not quite sure.

Look for any advice/suggestions from those who done it before.

I'd install new tips, smaller if need be. A good shop should be able to fabricate the exhaust in a way it doesn't touch the diffuser

Yeah I was assuming that's the case. A shop said they needed to check the valance and weld extra metal to make it work. Truth or just bullshit? I just want my exhaust tips installed and done in a way where it will not touch diffuser.

The only extra metal added should be as a support, but nothing else really.
