I'm new to BMW and even newer to coding. Been reading and keen to code a few things on my BMW (2014 302d M Sport). This may be a silly question but Bimmercode vs E-Sys?
I assume E-sys gives more flexibility, maybe cheaper?
Bimmercode costs $$ but just works? not planning on doing crazy stuff
any recomendation/preference?

Needed for any FDL Coding, so yes. Mac can only use with Bootcamp.

Hello,

We have a car here where the idrive button, radio and display where stolen.
We fitted everything secondhand.

After this we see that they are not coded wich is normal, display and radio nog working, but if i check in diagnostics i can change the display to testscreeen, green or red or no signal, so communications are ok, and the buttons of the idrive all work.

So now i did a coding with my maxisys 908 pro, all the coding faults (in HUH and CON module) are gone, the radio is working but i have now 'no signal' on the screen always.

And these 2 fault codes B7F81A (Wlan antennat not connected?) and B7F8C3 (Connection to CID no communication).

Could it be that the coding was wrong, or maybe the second hand parts are not completely right?

Also now i can't activate the screen anymore to green or red or so in diagnostic.
But the radio is working

Is there somewhere to find what codes have to be set here next to su

I now see we don't have anyting connected to WLAN purply connector on the radio at the back, but there is nothing to connect, maybe the old radio didn't have it, it's difficult to now as it was stolen completely
