Hi guys. New to the forum and really excited to meet some new people and I'm sure learn a lot 😄

Currently have '18 420d coupe in Melbourne Red (pic below)
Always been a bike man and this was my first car. Gotta say I absolutely loved it but I have some decent money in it and its a good time to change.

Even though my dealership have been trying to get me into a new 320d id rather spend less and swap in for a GC with a bigger engine so decided on a '18 435d x drive.

Bit of an unusual request I guess, but already paid deposit and going to see/ collect this Friday coming. Any advice on things to look out for or just general opinions on the car. Thanks guys.

Ps. First thing I'd be looking to do is lower it slightly (not a fan of the x drive gap). Live close to Tuned UK and I've seen them do eibach pro kit/ spacer mods so would probably go that route

Holiday mode, set.

Been running the Conti SportContact 7s for a couple of weeks too, loving them. Mind, I did come from the standard run flats, so the comfort difference is phenomenal.

New ish to the group so thought I'd share a couple of pics of my F31.

Pics were taken just after I had the wheels refurbished.
So far I've had the windows tinted, fitted brembo drilled discs all round with ebc pads, NBT Professional retro fitted with 6WA dash & replaced the ac rad so it's icy cold again.

Got the gearbox service to do this weekend then it'll be EGR & swirl flap delete, larger intercooler and remap. After that I'd like to retrofit folding mirrors and front parking sensors.

Will be Marmite to some but the original puddle lights were boring and pretty dim so swapped these in a while back. Now the darker nights are starting to draw in can see them more easily. Also picked up some of the ambient light enhancer strip. Have to whack the ambient lighting to max but it does definitely make a difference.

Finally found a car that I’m happy with.

It replaces a BMW M235i

Had MPPSK fitted today too 😳

I have yes, looking to add a rear diffuser, spoiler, side skirts and front diffuser at some point in the future.

Will also get my wheel re trimmed and possibly get the interior trims done

Nice, you've reminded me that I need to fit my door card light enhancer strips too!
