2016 F31 Alpine White 335d

Just thought I would put a thread up with some pictures of my car. I always find these useful when I am looking for a car in a specific colour to see how it looks.

I have had it for about 2 months now and couldn't be happier. I had a full service done for peace of mind not long after I bought it. I like cleaning and detailing so needs some work doing in that area.

Changes so far:
-Black boot badges
-Black flank badges
-Front Arch guards
-M-style wing mirror caps

Planned:
-DA polisher as paint has some areas that need improving.
-H&R springs. Have bought already just deciding on whether to change shocks as well for uprated items.
-Will need 4 tyres before winter so will have the suspension and tyres done at the same time and then 4 wheel alignment.
-Gearbox service
-Remap and gearbox map

Instagram : @bmw_f31_335_alpinweiss

Here a few pictures from varying stages but first one is how it sits now.

Alcantara was a no cost option from the 2015 LCI I believe. Personally I prefer it and I love the blue highlights.

Ah fair enough
I didn't think they looked like normal cloth seats.

The first car I've seen with Alcantara that wasn't specced from factory by me!

Nice car, the interior makes it but I'm biased

Love the alcantara interior, I really don't get the world's infatuation with leather seats. Sticky in summer, cold in winter, I'd rather have nineties Vauxhall velour, even compared to the Merino stuff I've got in mine.

Before and after from the recent suspension work.
Bilstein B8 with H&R springs with 4 new MPSS and 4 wheel alignment completed after. I love the look, I think it sits perfect now without any compromise in ride. Couldn't be happier.

Full day of winter prep completed last weekend. Booked in for gearbox service next week then will be having an Alpina map fitted. Hopefully a remap in the new year.

It’s obviously a little firmer but I find it absolutely fine. Speed humps are the biggest challenge. You have to be concentrating otherwise if you are going to fast front splitter catches.

That's what I would be worried about is the speed bumps.
