F30 LCI - USA car with ECE lights

Hi all,

A friend of mine has got a 2017 330xi.
He bought it and has been driving it for a while with a few codes relating to the DRLs and turn signals. The DRLs work, but the turn signals hyperflash. Turns out it was previously hit in the front and repaired before sale. Oops.

ISTA says:
Right turn signal voltage out of range
Right turn signal open circuit
Left turn signal voltage out of range
Left turn signal open circuit
Daylight running light voltage out of range
Daylight running light open circuit

These are all pretty straightforward errors for a car that has been retrofitted with LEDs. However, the VIN - and ISTA - say that this car was equipped with 5A2 - the LED headlights package.

Furthermore, in FEM_BODY, every single option for _IS_LED is set to aktiv and every hot/cold check is disabled.

The one thing I found strange was that the headlights say ECE LL, instead of USA LL on them. Not sure why the repair people decided to install Euro lights instead of US lights. Presumably the modules are the originals.

Finally, some questions
1. The PNs for the ECE lights are 7419633-04 and 7453481-01. Both say they are for 12v cars. Is there a different VO code I should try for this car since they are Euro lights?

2. As mentioned above, all of the bulb checks are disabled. Am I missing something? Are there some additional options that I can change to make these errors go away?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
