Muffler Options

I did a muffler delete a couple of years ago, and now my commute has changed and I'm stuck at speeds where I drone the entire drive to work. Is there a muffler that fits the f30 that can be purchased without having to buy an entire cat-back or axle-back system? Looking for something louder than stock, but without the drone of the muffler delete, thanks.

Maybe look into adding a J pipe - google it or ask your muffler shop - it will help

ps also known as Helmholtz tubes

Why don't you go for the M performance muffler you can switch loud/normal depending on your environment?

I'm happy with my magnaflow dual chamber muffler. Sound is plenty, but also quiet enough.

Axleback is basically just a muffler with tips anyways. I'm personally a fan of the Remus system. Utilizes the stock valve actuator so it adds some adjustability in terms of volume. Not sure how much you're willing to spend though; it's a little pricey.
