it was a tough choice, and when I see a type R on the road I think about it. I know it is probably some first time BMW awe, but I am very happy with the choice.

I think you made a great choice. Performance aside I think the new Honda Civic is hideous!!!

Interior is pretty much done as well:

Installed
- m3 tri stitch center armrest with CF
- m3 CF ebrake with tri stitch boot
- tri stitch Alcantara shift boot
- raceseng red metallic weighted shift knob
- m performance pedals
- CF leather tri stitch steering wheel with red powdercoated steering wheel innertrim and CF M performance steering wheel outer trim
What's your opinion on the raceseng shift knob? Does the shifter feel any different? Shorter throws?

Ya I actually just changed out that shift knob I had for a different style, color, and finish from Raceseng.

The shift knobs are awesome, great quality, good weight. They weigh more than the M shift knob I had stock obviously. It makes shifting a lot more enjoyable.

I wouldn't really say it makes them shorter, it's just easier since the knob is heavier and the way it feels in your hand is a lot better and more ergonomic I guess.

I came from a short shifted honda on my previous car so going through the gears on a BMW seems like rowing a boat unfortunately. And I haven't heard many good experiences with the short shifter kits for our cars.

But I definitely would endorse getting shift knobs from raceseng. Their customer service has been awesome and the quality of the products is great. I just ordered a different style and color from them to have something to switch out. (They are very easy to switch out the knobs once you have the adapter on.)

Hope that helps
