Of all these individual options, the only one I would personally opt for is the extended leather dash. Maybe an individual exterior color, just maybe. But the extended leather immediately elevates the level of class and sense of "expensiveness" in any car. It's nice.

The white merino leather gives the vehicle an exclusive look but the wheels are ugly. Bmw used to have the best looking stock wheels compared to the other manufacturer's.

You know what I was thinking... I'd really love to spend $5000 for a steering wheel that says individual on it.

I'm glad this just came out; had it been an option when I purchased, I would've wasted a lot of money for the leather everywhere option!

if the steering wheel thickness is increased similar to the M-sport wheel, that may be worth the upgrade in aftermarket parts. it definitely uses the sport line or no-line air bag

The extended leather dash should be a stand alone option. It has a large impact on elevating the interior to better reflect the higher MSRPs.

Now I understand why the lower dash (especially coral red) in the 4 series is painted plastic. It creates the desire or "need" for the extended leather. Well played sir.
Personally, I will pay extra for it if the 4 GC becomes part of the individual plan (I am sure it will be). |

I wish BMW would offer classic German square weave carpet like my old early 911 had:

They should have added individual audio as an option.
