Best to email vipfinance@bmwofcamarillo.com with your vin and current miles so they can look up your specific situation and let you know what options you have available.

Thank you. I had sent them an email. Another warranty question though: If I find a car that is still under BMW warranty (by year and milage) at non BMW dealer - can I put car like that under extended warranty?

Yes for the most but still best to give them your vin so they can look what it qualifies for

Interesting - I was talking to the BMW dealer (Serra of Okemos) yesterday, and they had told me that due to "recent policy change" additional warranty can be added only at a time of vehicle purchase ... he did not offer any supporting documentation on that front.

Some things like wheel and tire for example can only be purchased at signing yes. But no ext warranties and plans can be purchased after signing as long as it’s before factory runs outs. Again best to email them your vin and miles so they can tell you what you qualify for.
