F36 inner headlights not working?
Hey guys,
I have a 2019 F36 LCI with the standard LED headlights, the corona rings I believe that's how people call them. Recently, I got curious that the two inner lights don't light up when low beam is on, so I turned on high beam and they are still not on. I searched around and seems the two inner lights are non-functional, just housing. I just had my car serviced, so I am pretty sure they are not broken...Can someone confirm this? Much appreciated. |

That's correct. The LED technology allows the one LED module to do both low and high beams. The second housing is just cosmetic.

Yep. Nothing in there to light up.
Someone on here did retrofit bulbs in there. I forgot the name. |

Interesting. On my 2018 340i with adaptive LEDs all four headlights light up when the headlights are on. I thought non-adaptive did the same thing.

They do on f30 but not f32/33/36/8x, The base headlights are different (projector vs reflector)
