Hello!
Got hold of a virginiszed 6WA cluster and will try to code it in to the car myself. The car is a 2016 420d. I have not done any coding with esys until now, but I have read up a lot on it and feel comfortable with stuff like this as long as there is guides to follow So, I am wondering wether this guide mentioned in this thread still is relevant? It's from 2013 and a lot might have happened since then. Thinking mostly of software versions etc https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1115403 Cheers |

I really don‘t know why he is flashing the kombi.
As with most retrofits, this is not necessary at all. You can / should maybe do that if the software of the Kombi is too different from the rest of the car. But usually simple coding is enough. |

Thanks for letting me know! That means it hopefully won't be as advanced as I first thought. But it also means I need to do some more research.
